It's exciting to see that the club is growing like this. The addition of ~Beautifull-Freak brings our total membership up to 23 members.

Hopefully the future has many more new members and new gallery submissions to come .

Yule Contest Reminder

The contest is to create a piece of art related to Yule, expressing what you believe is the most beautiful thing about Yule. You may enter as many pieces as you wish, in whatever category you like, but you can only win one prize.

Prizes will be awarded for best visual piece (photomanipulation, drawing, painting, etc.), best short story, best poem, and best scuplture.

All entries must be submitted by December 15th at 12:00 A.M. Eastern U.S. time.

1st Place Prize: A wire or wood pentacle necklace, or custom necklace from Evil Rubber Ducky Design Co. [link] . 1st place winners entries will also be featured in the club's journal until January 1st

2nd Place Prize: A wood pentacle keychain from Evil Rubber Ducky Design Co. 2nd place winners will be featured in the club's journal as well until January 1st.

3rd Place winners will be featured along side first and second place winners in the club's journal until January 1st.

Let's get creative people! Submit your pieces and let's see this club's gallery really take off .

Club Rules

To become a member you must:

1.) Be a Wiccan or Pagan of any tradition, people of all traditions are welcome. You do not have to be an initiate, but you do have to have a sincere interest in the religion.

2.) Send a note to , , or myself requesting membership, then add us to your deviant watch list.

All members must place the club's icon ( : iconFollowersoftherede : ) or name ( : devFollowersoftherede : ) in their journal entries and/or signatures.

Submitting Artwork:

1.) All art submitted to this club must have a Wiccan/Pagan theme or be related to the religion in some way.

2.) To submit artwork, send a note with a link to the piece to any of the users mentioned in the section on becoming a member.

All artwork is subject to approval and must be original. We do not support theft or plagiarism.

If we enter one of your pieces into the club's gallery, full credit will be given to you in the description as well as a link to your user page and the original piece.

Finally, the most important rule of this club: In all dealings having to do with ~Followersoftherede, remain civil, respectful, and follow the rules you agreed to in the deviantART policy agreement. This rule is never to be broken for any reason. We want to have a good image in the dA community, and the best way to ruin that is for our members to be rude and disobey dA site policy.

As the old year starts to wane the new begins, it's now Samhain.
When the time for Imbolc shows watch for flowers through the snows.

When the wheel begins to turn soon the Beltane fires will burn.
As the wheel turns to Lamas night power is brought to magick rite.

Four times the Minor Sabbats fall use the Sun to mark them all.
When the wheel has turned to Yule light the log the Horned One rules.

In the spring, when night equals day for Ostara to come our way.
When the Sun has reached it's height time for Oak and Holly to fight.

Harvesting comes to one and all when the Autumn Equinox does fall.
Heed the flower, bush, and tree by the Lady blessed thee'll be.

Where the rippling waters go cast a stone, the truth thee'll know.
When thee have and hold a need, harken not to others greed.
